Achievements

I hold a Bachelor's Degree with Software Engineering majors, BSc in Telecommunication and Information Technology (First Class Honors) from Kenyatta University (KU) . Throughout my studies, I sharpened my knowledge in software development, IT infrastructure, networking, telecommunication systems and project management, building a versatile and adaptive skill set. My final year project evolved into my own startup, giving me the opportunity to combine fullstack development, DevOps principles and strategic problem-solving to deliver practical, real-world solutions.

I earned my Software Engineer certification through the ALX Software Engineering Program by ALX Africa , an intensive unsupervised learning journey designed to develop elite software engineering capabilities. The program sharpened my expertise in software engineering principles, system architecture, low-level and high-level programming languages, and full-stack systems development. I gained hands-on experience with cloud technologies like AWS, database management, version control, and DevOps practices, equipping me to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications. This rigorous training empowered me to tackle complex real-world problems, optimize workflows and deliver professional-grade software solutions that drive business impact leveraging AI as well.

Through the Power Learn Project (PLP) programme, I engaged in a mentored Fullstack Web Development program , building dynamic, responsive and scalable web applications from the ground up. I refined expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as React and Next.js, backend systems like Django, Flask and Node.js, database design, RESTful APIs and deployment workflows. With hands-on guidance from industry mentors, I delivered practical, production-ready solutions, optimized for performance and maintainability. This experience equips me to create high-quality web applications that solve real-world problems and drive measurable results for clients.

Completed the Google Technical Support Foundations Program , gaining hands-on experience in DevOps fundamentals, system administration, networking, cloud infrastructure and troubleshooting real-world technical issues. I developed practical skills in monitoring, automating and maintaining scalable systems, alongside expertise in security best practices and problem-solving workflows. This foundation empowers me to optimize infrastructure, resolve complex technical challenges and ensure reliable, efficient operations for businesses and projects

I was a member of AIESEC Kenyatta University, AIESEC is a globally recognized youth leadership organization, I served as the Marketing and Branding Lead for the 2022/23 year. I strengthened my skills in strategic communication, brand positioning and digital marketing while collaborating closely with diverse teams to deliver impactful campaigns. I coordinated and promoted key initiatives during the 2022/23 Youth Month, organizing events that engaged and empowered young people through that week. This experience enhanced my project management, teamwork and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

In 2022, I was selected at DOT Kenya as a Web Development and Design Instructor after going through their foundations programme , mentoring aspiring developers in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive design. I also introduced learners to CMS platforms like WordPress, helping them build dynamic, professional websites. This role sharpened my instructional and technical expertise, enhanced adaptability and strengthened my ability to deliver client-ready solutions while empowering the next generation of tech talent.
